I have finished a few 3D scenes lately. Here is two previews:

Opening Shot

Today I have been working with lighting, rigging, animating and shading the opening shot for our film. Here is a still from my work.

One million Updates

Since the last time I posted the work has changed from pre production to full production.

I have spent much of my time rigging two enemy characters for the film.

Here is a quick test render I made. The colors are off but the rig seems to work very well.

I also spent a lot of time working on the soundtrack and I have finished a final version of the animatic. I will post it as soon as we have finished our firs animated scene so you also get an Idea of the final look.

I'm working on the sound effects for our animatic. My only instruments are microphone, vocal chord, knife and bananas (for the splatter effects). I think we should gather as a group for a final sound edit with music and effects. I also need more bananas... I had to change the music a bit and I'm not sure how successful it is at the moment. Hopefully you have some ideas :)

Work in progress 'Samurai Gardener'

I have spent the last two days coming up new ideas trying to refine the concept of our film with working title 'Samurai Gardener'.

Synopsis:

'Samurai Gardener' is a short film about boy reading a book about a samurai gardener. The boy is distracted by mosquitoes while reading. Making him confuse the gardener with a projection of himself swatting mosquitoes, transforming the peaceful gardener into a violent slashing sword master.

Manuscript:

The manuscript is in production and will be ever changing for the next few weeks as people come with new and inspirational ideas.
